Dual commitment profiles and job satisfaction among temporary agency workers

Temporary agency workers (TAWs) are an ever-increasing type of employees which establish a double work relationship with both the and client organization. Within this context, concept dual commitment has received considerable attention in last years. The present contribution integrates line research one adopting person-centered approach to study configurations, investigate profiles on large sample TAWs. According Sinclair et al.'s framework, we aimed identify TAWs' based their levels affective (to organization) general continuance differences job satisfaction among profiles. Latent profile analyses 7225 TAWs revealed 5 distinct profiles, namely Dually Free Agents, Involved, Allied, (Unilaterally) Client Allied Agency Invested. Involved profile, followed by had highest level satisfaction, whereas Agent Invested lowest. Furthermore, group higher as compared profile. Implications discussed.
